Hello fellow rehabilitation nurse colleagues!

Weather is always unpredictable in Colorado and we have really experienced a wet spring and summer! I am enjoying our wildflowers later in the season and hoping the snow doesn’t arrive too early this year. I invite you to browse through our site. Let me know what you think and please let me know if there is anything else we can add to the site.

Our Board Members for 2011-2012 has not changed. We are very excited about upcoming opportunities and changes for the fall and spring. You will find all of the Board's contact information listed on this site.

In addition to Board positions, we have committee positions that are a wonderful way to become involved in our chapter. Please complete the "CCCARN Survey" on this site to learn more about the committees and share if you are interested in joining one (or more!).

I want to encourage everyone to join us this year for networking opportunities and educational CE's. As always, we will continue to have our Monthly meetings where light meals are provided. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the following months: January, February, March, May, June, September, October and November.

Location: Most of our meetings take place at Craig Hospital in Englewood, CO, but this year we will have our September meeting in Colorado Springs (location to be determined). We are looking at a northern location for our May or June meeting as well.

Time: 6:00-7:00p business meeting/networking.
7:00-8:00p education activity CE's provided.

I am pleased to announce that we are still planning our April 27, 2012 Rehabilitation Conference. At this time, we are still confirming speakers, but it looks like this will be a great opportunity for education and networking with rehab nurses. If you have vendor or sponsor ideas, please contact, Jill Welsh-Schrader, our Education Chair, at jill.welsh1@gmail.com.

We are planning our annual Holiday Celebration (no educational offering) on the second Wednesday in December. We hope you can join us.
